Freelancing: What it is



A freelancer, freelance worker, or freelance is a self-employed person who pursues a profession without a long-term commitment to any particular employer.

Payment for freelance work also varies greatly. Freelancers may charge by the day, hour, or page or on a per-project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some freelancers have adopted a
value-based pricing method based on the perceived value of the results to the client. By custom, payment arrangements may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on milestones or outcomes.

According to the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics:

Approximately 10.3 million workers in the US are independent contractors[1]

7.4% of the US workforce is made up of independent contractors[1]

In the past three years, companies have increased their outsourcing by 22% on the internet

Think first before start freelancing:

1. Find out your area of specialization.
2. Go to a Freelancing website and get an account.
3. Create your Profile to attract Buyers.
4. Project searching and bidding.
5. Conveying updates to the buyer.
6. Complete and deliver Project timely.
7. Withdraw your money and ENJOY.


As we are in the twenty first century, a time that appreciates with Freelancers in hundreds of different jobs. Sure, you have probably heard of freelance photographers, freelance software designers, freelance medical billing specialists, or even freelance scientific researchers and internet researchers? There are lots of jobs that have recently massive growth in their respective fields because more and more people are realizing that they can make far more money working for themselves as freelancers than they earn with their previous employer. So it sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? You work in some field for quite a few years, get a lot of practical experience in your chosen area of employment and then gradually make the switch from working the nine to five to becoming your own boss as a freelancer. The first step in making the decision of switching from office work to freelance is to decide whether or not you have what it takes to become a freelancer. We all bear it in mind to be our own boss, but do we all have the drive and dedication that it takes to be successful without the watchful eye of our boss? Sorry to say that we don’t. So you have to sit back relax and think vigorously do you have guts to become a freelancer or not.

Take your decision wisely whether you engage yourself in technology related field such as Networking, CSS, Joomla, Wordpress, Script Installation, Search Engine Optimization etc. If you r fresh but eager to learn those you can be learnt in a few days. How…… Just Google them for tutorials and you’ll be ready to go.
