The sign up process at Xomba is pretty straightforward. You will be asked to create a username and password, enter your email address, state your age, and agree to the Xomba terms of service and posting rules.

Step 3

To earn money from Xomba, you will need to enter your Adsense publisher ID number.


To get your publisher ID number, log in to your Google Adsense account. You will find your publisher ID in the top right corner of the page. It looks like pub-###############. Copy this number.


Now, log in to Xomba.com and click on "View My Profile."
You will then have four options: "View" , "Edit" , "Subscriptions" , "Track."
Click on "Edit". In the "Edit" tab, click on "Adsense."


Then you should see a text box that says "Google Adsense Client ID." This is where you want to put your Publisher ID.


Make sure you enter the full number INCLUDING "pub-" If you leave that part out, you won't earn anything.


When you are done, click Submit.

Step 4

Now you are free to post on Xomba.


There are two kinds of posts on Xomba: Xombytes and Xomblurbs.


Xombytes are like typical articles that you would find elsewhere on the web. There is a 150 word minimum for Xombytes, so plan accordingly.


Xomblurbs are short snippets with a link to another website, article, video, blog, or the like. Xomblurbs are great for getting free traffic to your eHow content, Bukisa page, personal website, or whatever else you want to promote.

Step 5

Comment on other users' posts


The best way to get traffic on Xomba is to make friends on the site. Read, rate and comment on their work - and they will do the same for you.


Remember - as with anything else - if you help other users achieve their goals, they are more likely to help you.

* Make sure to read the terms of service and posting guidelines to avoid any problems.


* Be open and friendly. People like a friendly face, and will be more likely to visit your content if you show that attitude on Xomba.

* Don't post any Xombyte or Xomblurb more than once. This can get you flagged for spamming.

This handy little tool is actually designed for Google Adwords users to figure out how well a specific keyword will perform in an ad campaign. But, you can use this tool too.


Start by typing in a word or phrase that you want to base your article on.


Then click Get Keyword Ideas.

Then make sure the average Cost Per Click (CPC) is shown by using the "Choose Columns to Display" dropdown menu.

By looking at the average Cost Per Click - what an advertiser PAYS to use that keyword in an ad - we can figure out how much you will EARN per click. The more an advertiser has to spend, the more money you will earn. So pick keywords with a decent CPC.


The Search Volume columns show the average number of times a keyword is searched for using the Google search engine. More searches means the topic is more popular. But be careful to watch the Advertiser Competition too. Too much competition will make it difficult for you to get your article / content on ranked well in Google or other search engines.

When making your final decision, pick a keyword with....

- Medium amount of Advertiser Competition - Too much competition will make things difficult
- Good Cost Per Click (CPC) - These will earn you more money.
- Large search volume (popular topics) - Popular topics will get more traffic
