Placing AdSense Ads on Your Blog

Now it's time, let's do a quick recap up to this point in case you have left alone   something that catching up to do.To Earn Money Smartly from Home it is important to updated all the way and not to fall over.

1.) Y
ou may already know  what is AdSense?
2.)
Also think you familiar with the terms: Blogging and Bloggers?
3.)
Thought that you have successfully setup your very own Blog with the Blogger service?
4.)
Do you have an understanding of Google's Terms of Service so your account  doesn't get banned?

If your answer is no to any of those above questions, simply follow the link to my post explaining in more detail before you continue on. Otherwise, it's time to put AdSense on our blog and start Earn Money Smartly from Home (Of course, with some patience.)!

The great thing about Blogger is it makes it dead simple to get started. First, head over to
Blogger and log into your account. When you do that, it should automatically bring you to your “Dashboard”. Here's a picture of my current dashboard:

To get started, simply click on the “Layout” link on the bottom right of your Dashboard summary and you'll see something similar to this:

What you're seeing here is a high level breakdown of your
Web Design. Most sites (like my own) are composed of a header, menu, content, and a footer. To get AdSense up and running on your blog, click any of the dotted areas that are labeled: “Add a Page Element”.

Once you do that, you'll get a pop up (make sure any anti-pop up software is disabled) with many options to choose from. From here, click on the AdSense section button: “Add To Blog”. The icon is marked with dollar bills (Yeah it is!).

Bored!!! We're almost home...

Now from the screen shown below that let's you choose format options and colors. It even gives us a nice little preview to save us time later on! We'll discuss these options more in future articles, but for now keep the defaults.

At this point hit the “Save Changes” on the AdSense window - it should close automatically. At this point you are all set! You can click on the “Preview” button on the original page to view your changes or simply refresh your blog. You also have the ability to move the AdSense up or down - or move it to a completely different page element altogether! (Just make sure you preview your changes before you save)

Is this lying when I said you don't have to be a web guru to get this setup, was I? Now you have the tools setup to pull in some extra revenue (hopefully a steady stream). Well, not quite. This isn't a get-rich-quick-scheme. It's going to take some time, patience and hard work (Seeing that you rolling your eyes). Nothing comes easy, but if you stick around we can get there together.

This is just your starting on the road to Earn Money Smartly from Home. Gradually you'll be efficient in placing your ads more obviously from where you can earn more and more Smartly as you have already learnt to use the tools to do so.

So, Be in the pink and Njoy...............

Adsense Terms and Conditions (Synopsis)

As you have already learned how easy it was to Creating Google AdSense Account so now we can try to generate some earnings from created blog. But before we go indisciplined way placing our Google AdSense ads, it’s important that we understand their TOS.

Generally Terms and Conditions are quite boring. We often scroll down the long page and hit “Yes, I accept, sure I read your blah blah blah”. If that’s you (like most) then this post is for you – it’s important we understand the TOS so we don’t get our AdSense accounts banned.

Keep in mind on "Invalid Clicks":

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT click on your own ads. Do NOT encourage others to click on your ads. If your intentions were to setup your blog so your Retired Aunt Bush can sit on your site all day and click your ads – forget it! You’re going to get your account terminated.

Do NOT encourage your audience n readers to click on your ads. Attempting to be slick with your ad links and say, “click these ads” or “support us” is a good way to get the boot.

Placement of Ads:

There are several types of ads that Google AdSense allows you to place on your site. We’ll learn more about these as we go but for now, remember these guidelines:

1.) Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.

2.) A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes on a page.

3.) Up to three link units per page.

4.) Up to three referral units per page, in addition to the options above.

Google Adsense is dedicated to generating money from our blog legitimately. This is a great program and the fact that it’s free really presents an excellent opportunity for everyone. Let’s treat it the way it likes to work with.

Remember, this is an abridged version that touches on the highlights so you don’t fall asleep while drinking your coffee. But I encourage you to read the Terms and Conditons and the Program Policies in their entirety so you’re equipped with the proper knowledge.

Here you are to get it all:

Google Adsense Terms and Conditions.

Google Adsense Program Policies.

Hope this will help you a lot in turning  your focus on the post. So, be cheerful and get prepared for the coming next............

Adsense Channel-How to create

What are Google AdSense Channels? you have learned that a channel will help you monitor which ads and which sites are making you money. By tracking your individual ads and their placement, you’re able to increase your chances of blogging for money. You can even create a channel to track each of your separate domains, so you can see where your clicks are coming from. Now it's time to show you how to create an AdSense channel so you can start monitoring yourself your progress today and from right now!!!

Creating Your First Customized AdSense Channel

Very first thing to do just go ahead and log into your Google AdSense account. Once you’re logged in, click on the AdSense Setup tab.

The AdSense setup tab will present you with some sub menus for selection. As we’re interested in the Channels the day, so click on Channels.

To create a customized channel and to do so you’ll click on the Add new custom channels option under channel tab.

You should now be on the Add channel screen, which contains a single textbox labeled Name. This is where you’re going to type the name of your channel for the ad that you will monitor. You want to make this as clear as possible so you know exactly which ad on which site you’re tracking. So for example, let’s say you’re using a vertical ad unit that is 160 x 600, sits in your right navigational menu, and contains text only. A logical name for this channel might be something like “right menu vertical (txt)”. Later on when you check your report, you’ll be able to easily identify which ad belongs to the channel. If  happen you have two sites with the same ad in the same position, simply differentiate the two by your site name – If one is about Earn Money Smartly maybe something like: “EMS right vert (txt)”. If  you have another site about Information on Playing Cards this label tells you that the ad it’s tracking is something like: "IPC right vert (txt)”. May I clear it to you?

Assigning an ad to a Channel

At this point you’ve successfully create a customized channel. Let’s stay with the earlier example and pretend you want to track a 160 x 600, text-only ad unit that sits on the right side of your navigational menu. In order to accomplish this, you need to create the ad unit and assign it to the channel.

Head to Get Ads and choose AdSense for Content.

Keep the default Ad unit selected and choose Text ads only from the drop down list and hit continue.

Now we’re at the  customization screen – Go ahead and select the 160 x 600 vertical ad, also known as a Wide Skyscrapper. Feel free to customize it how you wish, you can even choose a different format if you feel comfortable at this point. This is just a simple example.

Now that your ad unit is customized, click continue. The following page will list your customized channels (you can create as many as you want). If you’ve been following up to this point, you should have a channel called “right menu vertical (txt)”. Simply add that to the selected channel and continue.

OK, just give the AdSense unit a name (Recommend to keep the default) and continue on to the next page. Simply copy your AdSense code and plug it into your Blogger blog…you’re done! If you’re not completely sure how to integrate this code into Blogger, please check out Google AdSense for Content (Images only). That article should get you up to speed.

Creating a customized AdSense channel is very important to your success. If you want to make money online by blogging, you need to monitor your sites progress. AdSense channels will allow you to do just that.

My next article I’ll show n explain how to view your new customized channel. Creating your channel is half the battle, but you have to know how to read it so you can make the proper adjustments. And making those adjustments will help you blog for money.

Have a break and refresh you with a cup of tea and get ready for the upcoming topics. Till then have sweet journey..............................
